Yen Goh, Founder of Shadowgap Suite

Yen began her architectural career upon graduation from the National University of Singapore. She has been practicing as a Qualified Architect for the past 12 years, where her interests lie mainly in projects that seek out social urban experiments and design-thinking solutions.
In 2009, she embarked on freelance consultancy and devoted part of her energies on a partnership with Unbox while staying in professional practice. She also conducted Social Innovation Learning workshops and Civic Education trails for Thinkscape. Started together with friends, Yen is part of StandUpWith.SG that initiates projects that matter to Singapore.
To sustain her creative energy, she uses her vocation and coaching to contribute to community. She teaches design at her alma mater NUS, does pro-bono collaborations with Ground-Up Initiative, Habitat for Humanity and Q Commons Sg.
As Founder of Shadowgap Suite, Yen is currently working on a personal book project that has to do with the magical things under her mum’s bed.
