Clarence Chan is the founder of Bandwagon, a platform that aims to connect you to live music, and give local music a bigger stage. Recently awarded “Best Local Startup” at I-S Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Awards 2014. Bandwagon is Singapore’s largest gig finder, listing more than 800 gigs a month across pubs and concert venues, and producing fresh and thought-provoking music content via its editorial. Bandwagon works closely with the industry and government bodies, promoting Singapore artists via its online platform and offline events like The Music Market and THE BANDWAGON festival bus, featured on the likes of Straits Times, 987FM, Timeout, JUICE etc.
An avid musician himself, Clarence graduated from Singapore Management University with First Class Honours in Economics & Business and a dream of making the world a better place through his interests in music and business. Clarence has been featured on the likes of BBC News, Business Times, Yahoo, 938LIVE, and in 2013 received his first Young Entrepreneur Award from Shell.
